To resize the swap partition:

  1. Deactive the current swap
  2. Use sudo fallocate -l 1G /swapfile where 1G is the new size of the swap partition and /swapfile the file you want to resize
  3. Reactivate the swap partition

Create new user

sudo adduser <username>

Change user

su - <username>
